OBJECTIVES:

1. To gain practical knowledge about business.
2. To maintain cordial relationship with the customers.
3. To earn more profit.

PROCEDURE:

All other entrepreneurs planned to do the business in cosmetic items, but we started the business with handcrafted garlands.
Next we moved to another business, we planned to sell watermelon because it was summer. So we thought that many people would prefer watermelon, Initially we couldn't get any customer. so first we sold to our friends and roommates. Through them we got many customers to our business. So we succeeded in this business.
After summer, one of us got a chance to go Mumbai, from there we got many fancy slippers at low cost. We concentrated on fancy items like fancy slippers, purse etc,. We sold them here and got some profit.
We continued that business in the same way with additional things like selling varieties of pickles. It included ginger, mango, chilly, garlic. onion, prawn, fish and dry fish pickles. During our business we got so many customers daily. According to their needs we sold some different items at the same time, and by these ways we succeeded in our business.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKING HANDICRAFT ARTIFICIAL GARLANDS:

We bought one meter firm sheet from the shop. We cut it in to two equal pieces, each piece having two inches width and 1ft length.
By rolling we made roses. We made 150 roses from one meter firm sheet. Totally 250 roses were needed to make one artificial ornamental garland. Then we tied the roses in a thread to make a garland.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE:

        1. We learnt how to take our products to the customers, for this communication is the most important thing for an entrepreneur.
        2. We had good relationships with the customers and we learnt how to maintain that relationships.
        3. Through this project we got more practical knowledge about business and it motivated us. We got lots of ideas to improve our business.
        4. We learnt how to avoid conflicts between the competitors.
        5. We faced a critical situation when selling pickle because, students had their own home- made pickle, so we couldn't get the expected profit. We were worried and we decided to stop that product.

PROBLEMS FACED:

"OBSTACLES ARE THE MILESTONES FOR SUCCESS" as this proverb says we faced some problems in our business. Then we planned and took some steps to overcome the obstacles. We started selling new varieties like prawn, fish and dry fish pickles to the customers.
Then it gave the profit we expected. It attracted many to take it to their homes. Thus we learnt the marketing strategy.

CONCLUSION:

The WE foundation of TNCC helps the women in need and uneducated people.
We the fatimites learnt the business activity with the help of WE (WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR) and surely we will convey this WE's activity to the needed people.
Through entrepreneurship we learnt many things like, communication, bargaining power, self confidence, business tactics, and patience while dealing customers, boldness and above all the confidence to stand in our legs. We can manage with this business work, if we don't get a job in the future too.
